No, you didn’t.

Editor’s Note:

Either I’m getting senile, overmedicating, or WordPress fucked up.  Either way, I dunno what happened, but here’s what I wrote on the inauguration, for what it’s worth.

Funny to note, it’s all still valid and proving more and more true with each passing day.  Nice, that.

There’s history in the air in Washington, DC today.  The National Mall is the official site for the world’s largest mutual masturbation session ever.  At 12:01PM today, the crowd ejaculated all over each other, not for the first time, and evidently not for the last.  While all you good people are busy sucking each others’ dick over the ascension of “The Messiah of Hype”, let’s examine a couple issues that are still outstanding: Continue reading

Tomorrow’s Vote

Concerned about political liberties in China, the reporter asked the Chinese Ambassador ‘When did you have your last election?’. The ambassador promptly replies ‘this morning, just before bleckfast’

So, tomorrow’s the big day.  Unless, of course, you’re an Obama supporter who TRULY wants to help this country.  If you are, then the big day comes Wednesday, when you should vote.  That’s the only thing you can do to truly have a positive impact on our country.

Me, I’m going to be planting land mines in my yard, putting up a brick and wire security fence, and buy a couple rottweilers.   I’ll replenish supplies early tomorrow morning, make a small run on the Bank of America to get some cash ($17.76 or so), come home and get some sleep before it’s my shift to keep watch.  I’ll have text alerts for “martial law”, “riots”, “election”, “global”, “antichrist” and “reversal” all set up to hit the Blackberry, and I’ll even dig the shortwave out of storage if I have enough time before the polls close. Let’s go ahead and get this over with….

If you’ve read any of my other columns, you know it’s difficult for me to hide my utter disdain for either of the ‘two’ Presidential Candidates – John Sidney McCain and Barack Hussein Obama.  I think that they both represent the Bilderberg-laden interests of those who would continue to enslave the American people, and I’m not likely to change my mind on any of that.

Now, a lot of people will tell you that a vote for anyone OTHER than one of these is a ‘wasted’ vote.  Others would tell you differently, saying that it’s a way of making a statement.  I’m not 100% sure either of these perspectives is meaningful anymore, and here’s why:

It’s the day after the election, and somebody won. Continue reading

Ron Paul: The Do-Something Congress

Ron Paul: The Do-Something Congress

It has not been a good week for the Republic.  It took quite a bit of trampling of the Constitution, but the bailout bill passed, as I suspected it would.

The bailout failed the first time it was brought to the House.  Undaunted, the Senate pressed on by attaching the bailout as an amendment to another House passed bill that was pending in the Senate.  The new bailout version had new taxes, so according to the Constitution it should not have originated in the Senate. Uncounted

Like a thief in the night…..

The culmination of activity last week in Congress, heretofore known as “The Week”, started winding down (or up, if you’re still optimistic) around 12:30AM on Sunday, September 28, 2008.

Under Cover of Darkness.

This legislation to bail out Wall Street Moguls is sheer insanity in the making, and it’s happening right in front of our very eyes….at least as much as we’re allowed to see.  Late night meetings with lobbyists and politicians.  Midnight sessions.  False, arbitrary deadlines.  Rush to judgment.  Pressures abound. Gloom and doom are predicted.

We expect that legislation costing SEVEN HUNDRED BILLION DOLLARS that we don’t even HAVE, will be printed and voted on in as little as 24 hours.  There will be no opportunity for opinion from those most qualified to render one.  There will be no consultation of the country’s experts.

There will be NO explanation or consultation to the US Taxpayer.  It will just happen.  We MUST remember. Continue reading

The Party Flip, Part 1: Obama vs Palin

False Choice 2008 Disclaimer:  Mobius not only does not support or endorse ANY of the Republican or Democratic Candidates for President/VP in this election, but would HAPPILY pilot the airplane that took all four of these pandering, blathering morons to exile in a 3rd world country.  The False Choice Four™ aren’t collectively worth the value of a Large Order of Fries.

Fair Warning:  This blog uses adult language and terms you may not hear on Noggin.  Deal with it.  In the Party Flip series of articles, Mobius examines how the two major Political Parties in the United States have made it easier to understand that there’s no real difference between them anymore. We’re a Purple Nation, make no mistake about it.

Let me see if I’ve got this straight:

We’re expected to believe that the least-known of the least-knowns is suddenly a political dynamo hell-bent on world destruction, removal of all things that we, as Americans, hold dear, and is every bit as corrupt as Dick Cheney with PMS. Continue reading
